About

Me

I'm thankful to be working for 680 News and CityNews Toronto currently. I've always wanted to be able to give back to the city I love. It feels good to know I am helping people plan for their day, trip, etc by giving them weather information on both radio and TV. You can listen live here: http://www.680news.com/

In 2014, I was the evening weather anchor for CBC News Saskatchewan. During my time here, I enhanced the quality of weather news on all platforms; TV web and radio. For example, I began working a split shift to be present on our greatest rated show, The Morning Edition. I also created a weather blog to entice a weather conversation with our viewers on the CBC News Saskatchewan website. A more recent example is my involvement with talking to students about weather as a guest visitor during science curriculum.

When I'm not at work giving audiences their daily dose of weather news, you'll find me buried in my books. Currently, I'm taking a Broadcast Meteorology degree with the Mississippi State University. I will be graduating in the summer of 2017 and I can't wait!

Previously, I worked as a Video Journalist for The Weather Network. I produced, wrote, edited and reported weather stories all on my own.  I am originally from Toronto, Ontario but I moved to the west for the opportunity to grow and focus my skills on reporting the weather.

As a Ryerson journalism grad, my past news experience includes reporting for Rogers TV and CFRB Newstalk Radio 1010. I also completed an internship with CTV National News in 2008 working alongside prominent news anchors including, Lisa LaFlamme and Scott Laurie. I have also worked with Diana Bishop, a former CTV, Global and NBC News Correspondent who has helped me sharpen my on-air performance.
